Überrito Celebrates Memorial Location Grand Opening with “Free Burritos For A Year” Giveaway

Grand opening kicks off with first 100 patrons receiving a free burrito a week for a year and neighborhood school fundraiser

Houston

Fast-casual restaurant Überrito starts the new year with a grand opening celebration of its newest location located at 14092 Memorial Drive on Saturday, January 18. On the day of the grand opening, the first 100 customers will receive one free burrito a week for one year valued at nearly $450 per person. Additional offers throughout the day include branded giveaways, face painting, free chips, salsa sampling and a chance to win more prizes by playing Überrito’s spin-to-win game.

To celebrate the location’s grand opening, Überrito is partnering with local area schools including Rummel Creek Elementary, Spring Forest Middle School and Westchester Academy for International Studies for a friendly school spirit fundraiser. The week-long Überrito Burrito Battle will run from Jan. 18-24 donating 15 percent of proceeds associated from each school purchase back to the schools. The school that raises the most will receive up to a $2,500 match from Überrito. The winning school will also receive a catered staff appreciation party for up to 100 people celebrating the hard work of local neighborhood’s teachers.

“We are excited to expand Überrito’s footprint in Houston and bring fresh lunch and dinner options to those in the Energy Corridor,” said Aly Noorani, franchisee and operator of Überrito in Memorial. “Whether vegan or gluten-free, we make everything in-house using high-quality, natural ingredients.”

The 2,800 square-foot restaurant features a casual yet upscale ambiance including a branded greenery wall and a custom mural dedicated to the Space City. The new restaurant creates a sophisticated fast-casual dining experience with an open kitchen, indoor/outdoor dining, exposed ceiling, and vibrant colors.

Überrito’s menu offers a flavorful and diverse selection of options including eight different proteins, 28 ingredients, eight house-made salsas, and four flavors of tortillas. Customers wishing to go tortilla free may opt for a bowl, salad or nachos layered in queso. The menu also includes “10 Tasty Tacos,” house-made tortilla soup, vegan and gluten-free options for dietary restrictions.

Überrito in Memorial is open daily from 10:45 a.m. to 9 p.m. To learn more about Überrito or to see the full menu, visit https://uberrito.com/locations/memorial or follow Überrito on Facebook (@UberritoMemorial).
